Let’s be honest – sometimes you really, really are too tired, too busy, (or drunk?) to wash your face – for those of us that can relate, cleansing wipes are an absolute god-sent creation.
The problem is that there are so many options out there when you’re looking for cleansing wipes that it can easily get overwhelming. I’ve gone through brand after brand not really finding any wipes that I loved – until I tried these Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths when I received them in my Ipsy bag.
These cloths are fucking awesome – seriously Skyn Iceland knows what’s up. The wipes are big, super soaked and contain white willow bark and cucumber extract (meaning they’re not only cleansing your skin but soothing it too!).
Bonus: I love the quote on their package – they really do understand!
How do I use these wipes?
Cleansing wipes are very simple to use. Simply take one and glide against your skin to remove makeup, oil, and dirt that have built up on your face throughout the day. Repeat until your face is clear of all traces of makeup. Follow up with a toner and moisturize. Wipes are the perfect thing to bring with you when travelling or when you cannot use your cleanser.
With the Skyn Iceland Glacial Cloths, a good tip is to rub cloth together to create a foaming lather and then sweep on the skin.
Here is a brief overview of the good and the bad features of the Skyn Iceland Glacial Cleansing Cloths.
The Good:
- Fresh, barely detectable scent
- Great ingredients that soothe your skin
- Will not make you break out
- Remove absolutely all traces of makeup
- One wipe is generally big enough to clear your whole face
- Does not leave residue on skin
- Thoroughly saturated – so you don’t feel like you’re rubbing a piece of paper on your face
- Hilariously relatable quote on packaging
The Bad:
My only serious complaint is that I wish these came in a re-sealable container like a box, instead of the standard sticky open and close flimsy packaging that most wraps come in.
Price:
$15.00-$18.00 for a package with 30 cleansing wipes.
Are they worth the investment?
If you have easily irritated skin and often find yourself travelling, forgetting, or too lazy to take off your makeup these will save you a million times. Definitely worth it.
